For its 2023 edition, the MountainBoard World Championships are coming back to France ! The first stage will take place from 13 to 15 July in Compiègne (60). Gathering more than 150 participants from 20 different nationalities, the riders will compete in two distinct events: Boardercross and Freestyle.
The second stage will take place on 17 and 18 July 2023 in the famous Massif Central resort of Super Besse (63). This final run will allow the riders to compete on a free track (freeride) and to let their creativity shine through.
The prize-giving ceremony will take place on the evening of July 18th on the terrace of the Tourism Hall of the Super Besse resort. More than a simple competition, the event will be accompanied by a multitude of activities around mountainboarding: initiations and freestyle, free and open to all.

It combines several sports such as snowboarding, skateboarding and mountain biking, offering a unique experience for extreme sports enthusiasts.
Generally practised on mountains with more or less steep and technical descents, it can also be practised on asphalt, in a skatepark or even on sand. There are downhill, freeride and freestyle mountainboards, which allow riders to perform a variety of tricks that make this sport particularly spectacular.
