technical overview
Dear riders, the circuit on which you will compete is located in the idyllic resort of Super Besse. With a start nestled at 1550m and a finish at 1300m, get ready to face 250m of negative vertical drop ! The maximum speed recorded is 72km/h… So get on your boards and try to break this record !
The race takes place on semi-free and natural terrain. The qualifying races will take place on the 700m Hermines track. The final races will take place on the René Chilbert track followed by the Hermines track for a total distance of 1km5. The competition starts with the qualifying day on Monday 17 July from 13h30 to 19h. Competitors pass in the order they wish, starting with the reconnaissance lap. Competitors’ times will determine the running order for the finals the following day.
Each competitor starts with 1 ticket for 10 lifts to the different departures. Of the 5 lifts per day, the competitor must use at least one for a non-timed run (mandatory) and one for a run that gives him a time on the stopwatch. The competitor may make 3 attempts to achieve his best time. The 5th run can be used in case of a fall or technical problem. It also allows for a second non-timed reconnaissance lap.
Regarding eligibility, competitors must be over 16 years of age, have a competition licence from their country of origin and a national or international classification. Helmets are mandatory, all other protection is strongly recommended. All equipment, protection and boards are the responsibility of the competitor. Mountainboards equipped with a brake system are allowed and do not depend on a separate category. For more information, we invite you to download the technical file and the competition rules below.

1.30 pm – 7 pm : Qualification phase on the Hermines piste at the Moutons chairlift

8am : Breakfast in the animation room
10am – 7pm : Championship final on the René Chilbert piste followed by the Hermines piste at the Falaise chairlift

10pm : Prize giving
10pm – 2am : Closing party and concert by the group Riparia
